Bruce Ryder Liono — Biography & background

I am Bruce Ryder Liono, a Grade 6 student at Singapore School Pantai Indah Kapuk (SIS-PIK) in Jakarta. I have loved Maths and Science for as long as I can remember, especially when I get to find out how things work.

Maths is my passion because I love playing with numbers. There is one correct answer, but many ways to reach it. Solving a problem and landing on that answer makes me happy. I join Maths and Science Olympiads whenever I can and I always try to give my best effort.

I have been a school prefect for two years. I take debating CCA at school, and outside school I take soccer, tennis, chess and piano. I have played piano since I was three. In my free time I sketch, draw digitally, read, and code Roblox games in Lua that my friends play.

Soccer is my favourite sport. I play with friends at lunch and for a club called Genesis. We are preparing for a tournament in November 2026. I also play tennis two or three times a week. This year I won first place in the Futsal Rockstar Elite Championship twice — April 2026 and 5 September 2026 at Cilandak Sports Center.

For more than three years my family and I have donated toys, books and clothes to an orphanage every Christmas. At Christmas 2025 I asked if I could teach Maths on the next visit, the way I already help classmates when my teacher asks.
